Composing An Anthem

This year’s America’s Cup theme music, composed by Arli Liberman, is a fusion of sound and innovation. What makes it truly special is the incorporation of the AC75 boats’ mechanical sounds, transformed into intricate rhythms that drive the composition. Combined with the powerful voices of the Orfeo Català female choir from Barcelona’s Palau de la Música, the piece captures both the intensity of the race and the elegance of the sea. Liberman’s inventive approach and collaboration create a sonic experience that echoes the spirit of competition and beauty of the oldest international trophy.
