At Sea Shepherd Australia we believe in collaboration. During our recent campaign, eager students from Shepherdson College’s Learning on Country Program joined forces with Gumurr Marthakal Rangers to clean up the beaches of Elcho Island, Arnhem Land.
This collaboration demonstrated the power of two-way learning, with the rangers generously sharing their stories and knowledge of Country with the students and Sea Shepherd crew.
The project showcased the benefits of Yolŋu and Balanda working together to protect these special coastlines.
