Justine Lemeteyer and Pierre Mortefon make bright starts in world title quests with Lemeteyer and Matteo Iachino leading event after first day of racing
After a quiet opening to proceedings yesterday, day two of the 2024 Fly! ANA Yokosuka, Miura Windsurf World Cup was on the total other end of the spectrum as a full day of racing, consisting of virtually no breaks, took place between 9:15am and 4pm. Today provided a real all-round test as this morning’s stronger winds – 15-22 knots – slowly faded to 7-10 knots by the early evening, so the world’s best racers had to be constantly on their toes and adapting to the conditions.
