
In the 2024 off-season there were several notable athlete transfers, but perhaps the most shocking was long-time Australia SailGP Team wing trimmer Kyle Langford’s decision to join the rookie Red Bull Italy SailGP Team. Langford had been Tom Slingsby’s right hand man since the very first season of SailGP, and the move left both teams entering the season with an untested driver-wing trimmer pairing.
