How to pack your scuba gear & luggage in your carry ons 💼 ✈️🤿 #scubadiving #traveltips #divetravel

How to pack your scuba gear into carry-on luggage, without checking a bag. This works well for both my wife and I, and we bring content cameras, drone, laptops, mics, & lots of batteries… plus all luggage & one “island fancy” outfit 😅

Key tips:
1) A good, carry on approved stand up roller bag (we both use the @akonaadventuregear under 7lb roller).

2) The BC is a a make or break: either pack super light or get a travel rig or super clean BPW (I use the @NexDive system)

3) Fins can be a bag buster as well. Learn to use travel fins with or without booties, they’re actually not that bad (I use the @SCUBAPRO Go travel or sport fins)

4) USE THE VACUUM BAGS- this allows almost all luggage AND a full length 3mm suit with extra outfits – I keep some in my carry on as well, yes you’ll want an iron after 😂
You can buy these basically anywhere online for cheap.

5) Make sure you know the carry on rules, and you’re in priority boarding (usually anything up from basic economy) if the flight is full to avoid a forced checked bag at the gate (which still beats the baggage check line at the front)

6) If both of us can do it with plenty of extra outfits roundtrip to Australia from Florida & back, along with cams, laptops, lights, tools, and drones, you can too 🤙
