YOU CAN’T SCRIPT THIS! A FINALS DAY FOR THE AGES | Fly! ANA PWA Windsurfing World Cup Japan 2026

Justine Lemeteyer and Matteo Iachino are crowned Foil Slalom world champions after a final day of drama at the Fly! ANA Windsurfing World Cup in Yokosuka, Japan.

Lemeteyer won the women’s event by just 0.4 of a point, snatching second in the final race with a superb last reach to take her third Foil Slalom world title in a row. Lina Eržen led the last race from start to finish, and Tuva Oppedal completed the event podium.

In the men’s, Amado Vrieswijk won the event, but a collision with Pierre Mortefon before the start of the last Winners’ Final left the world title out of his hands. Iachino won that race to take his sixth world title overall and second this year, with Bruno Martini second at the event.
