Emirates Team New Zealand’s Women & Youth crew is ready to take another step forward in Naples.
Helm Erica Dawson introduces teammates Jake Pye, Serena Woodall and Josh Armit, and explains what makes racing the high-speed AC40 unlike anything else. After their first event together in Sardinia, the crew has been gaining valuable time on the Bay of Naples and practice racing against Emirates Team New Zealand’s senior team.
With Blair Tuke bringing his experience to the latest training block, the focus is on learning the venue, understanding the weather and improving the team’s speed, manoeuvres and racecourse management ahead of PR2.
