Day 5: Opening round of Men’s Single Elimination completed in tricky light winds and variable waves
After a couple of days of Slalom X, Day 5 of the 2025 Playa Surf CBbC Hotel Tenerife El Médano Windsurf Grand Slam saw the Men’s Wave fleet enter the fray for the first time this week, which allowed the first round of the Single Elimination to be completed in relatively tricky conditions. However, the world’s best wave sailors were still able to produce a few moments of magic to leave only the top 32 men standing after being given 16 minutes to link together their best two waves and land their best jump.
