GB1 prepare to race on the waters that will host the 38th America’s Cup in 2027. For Dylan Fletcher, Ben Cornish, Bleddyn Mon and Andrea Tesei, the Naples Preliminary Regatta is a chance to see how far the crew has come.
Their first regatta in Sardinia began with a traveller-system failure that cost them the opening two races. GB1 fought back, found competitive pace and took a race win. The sailors reflect on the experience within the team, what they learned in Cagliari and the training they’ve completed before racing in Naples.
