We’ve arrived in #Antarctica, and after just a few days on the frontlines, it’s clear: the krill fleet is operating like no one’s watching. Massive nets are being dragged through waters full of feeding whales.
That’s exactly why we came now.
Later in the year than ever before, with rough weather setting in and most vessels gone, we’re here to make sure this destruction doesn’t go unseen.
This time, we also brought a scientist onboard to collect hard evidence of how industrial krill fishing is affecting whales, penguins, and the entire Antarctic ecosystem. We’ll use this data to push CCAMLR, the body responsible for protecting these waters, to finally act—and #StopThePlunder of Antarctica once and for all.
