The Ocean Race Atlantic is a high-speed, fully-crewed transatlantic sprint for the foiling IMOCA class – the first point-to-point race in The Ocean Race’s 50- plus year history. Six teams. 3,000 nautical miles. New York to Lorient. Starting 1 September 2026.
For the first time, every boat races under a mandatory 50/50 crew: two women and two men, plus an On Board Reporter. Alongside the racing, the fleet will gather critical climate data across the Atlantic — advancing ocean science, championing equity, and setting a new standard for what elite offshore sailing looks like.
