TWO WIND SYSTEMS, ZERO WIND 🇯🇵🌀
Windsurfing in a nutshell: we all want to be on the water, but today the remnants of Super Typhoon In-fa had other plans. Two competing wind systems cancelled each other out, and that’s frustrating for everyone.
We did get as far as the first mark of heat 1. Then the breeze dropped, swung 40º and became far too unstable to race, before the water turned completely glassy for most of the day.
With 2 days to go there’s still plenty of action on the cards, and tomorrow looks more stable with wind from the North. Skippers’ meeting is at 8:00 with a first possible start at 8:30am (GMT+9). Tune in at pwaworldtour.com 📺
