Justine Lemeteyer took a major step toward a second world title with another win, while Lina Eržen’s semifinal exit swung momentum heavily in the French rider’s favour. Blanca Alabau remains in the hunt for vice-world champion, with Marion Mortefon and Femke van der Veen climbing the order.
In the men’s fleet, Johan Søe continues to dominate the event, but the world title fight is between Matteo Iachino and Pierre Mortefon. The pair are tied on points, but Mortefon needs Iachino to drop to sixth or worse to have a chance. Strong south-west winds tomorrow promise a dramatic finale.
