HIGHLIGHTS FROM DAY 3 | Fly! ANA Windsurfing World Cup Japan 2026 | PWA World Tour

The waiting game continues as a promising forecast fails to materialise

Hopes were high at the beginning of Day 3 at the 2026 Fly! ANA Yokosuka, Miura Windsurf World Cup that the racing would finally get underway with the overnight forecast predicting winds of 15-27 knots. However, the wind remained much lighter, although during the morning at least there was enough wind for the competitors to be called to the committee boat. Unfortunately though only Heat 1 of the Men’s opening elimination could be started and even that was cancelled shortly after it began.

Despite remaining on hold until 14:30, the sailors were released with the wind never threatening to return.

Join us tomorrow for another early start – livestream will be kicking off at 8:15am with racing from 8:30am (GMT+9).
