The Living Fjords campaign is not only about responding when a Grind alert sounds. It is also about how we spend the quieter days: caring for the coastline, meeting local people and contributing positively to the islands. 🌊
While looking across these beautiful Faroese beaches, everything can appear untouched. But between the rocks, our volunteers still find plastic, polystyrene and discarded ropes that do not belong there.
For Tina and the crew, these cleanups are also an opportunity to connect with the local community and show that our commitment is not only to the pilot whales and dolphins, but to the fjords and coastlines they call home. 🐋💙
Five minutes may not feel like much, but if everyone spent five minutes cleaning the beach around them, it could make a real difference.
