It's no secret that getting in the water with Orca in Baja, Mexico is one of the best places on earth to do so. The water is warm, clear and there are numerous family groups that wonder up and down the coast. During the months of June & July, we see a huge increase in sightings, which presents us with a great opportunity to try and get in the water with these beautiful animals. In 2022 in the months of June and July, we had Orca 15 out of the 30 days, which are incredible stats. We tend to see them hunting on other species, such as mobula rays, turtles, sharks, mola mola etc... On each tour I take a maximum of 4 people, and we spend 8 hours a day at sea looking for orca, and whatever other wildlife we can find. Think of this as an ocean safari, with in water orca interactions being at the top of our list. Our trip through Antarctica aboard the National Geographic Explorer Exploring Antarctica is one of the coolest adventures on Earth! There are many reasons to go. But if for some reason you are unable to get there, no worries, you can live vicariously through me till you can get there. We’re heading to explore the most protected polar regions of the Antarctic! The South Shetland Islands for our first expedition to embark on our first colony of Adélie penguins. All I can say is WOW. Orca whales on deck! Back on the ship, the captain alerts us about an incoming Orca pod. These beautiful killer whales are a magnificent beauty to behold in nature. Off to our second landing to Tay Head.
