Day 2 delivered no wind, but plenty of waves – Super Typhoon In-fa, which battered the Northern Mariana Islands on Friday pushed some serious swell towards Japan and the water conditions were less than calm with some massive sets bombarding the event HQ, which led to almost all sailors de-rigging their equipment during the afternoon to place it safely on higher ground.
Whilst the riders were on hold this morning, we took the opportunity to ask them who they think will be World Champion at the end of this event, but what are your predictions?
Join us tomorrow for another early start – livestream will be kicking off at 8:15am with racing from 8:30am (GMT+9).
