In case you missed it, this January we are heading back to Antarctica for the fourth year in a row. We keep returning because Antarctica needs help. Now more than ever.
Antarctica is being plundered for krill on an industrial scale 🦐, the foundation of the entire #SouthernOcean ecosystem. When krill is removed, the impact travels upward through everything that depends on it. Whales 🐋 Penguins 🐧 Seals 🦭 Even the climate 🌎
We are going south to document what is happening, to sound the alarm 🚨 and to push for laws that truly protect this place instead of exploiting it. ✊
Antarctica cannot speak for itself.
We are going there to make sure it is heard ❄️💙
