In this edition of Let’s Talk About Diving, meet Dr. Dubravka Vejnović.
A forensic DNA scientist, ethics expert, technical diving instructor, and CCR Trimix diver, Dubravka has spent more than 15 years working at the intersection of science, innovation, and responsible decision-making. Her professional career has involved the ethical evaluation and monitoring of hundreds of international research projects, while her passion for deep wreck and cave diving has taken her into some of the most demanding underwater environments.
As the only female member of the Triton Technical Diving Team in Belgrade, she combines scientific rigor with technical diving experience, promoting safety, ethics, and evidence-based thinking both underwater and beyond.
At Diving Talks 2026, Dubravka will challenge us to think differently about decision-making, responsibility, risk, and the human factors that influence our actions in exploration, research, and diving.
