What is the grindadráp, and how does it really happen?
This short documentary takes you inside the Faroe Islands whale hunt. Step by step, it shows how pilot whales and dolphins are driven, trapped, and slaughtered under the name of tradition.
By 5 June 2026, four grinds had already taken place this year. Hundreds of pilot whales and other dolphins have been killed, and two of our crew members were arrested while documenting what happened.
This is why documentation matters. This is why pressure matters. This is why your voice matters.

This year is critical for the pilot whales and dolphins of the Faroe Islands.
The UK and Faroe Islands trade agreement is up for renegotiation. The International Whaling Commission will meet. The EU Commission is paying attention.
More lawmakers are talking about the grind, and this is our chance to push them toward real action.
Click TAKE ACTION and use our email tool to contact your representatives. Tell them about the grind and urge them to act.
Right now, the strongest pressure point is the UK. The UK and Faroe Islands trade agreement is up for renegotiation at the end of this year, so if you know anyone in the UK, ask them to take action too.
Every message matters. Every voice adds pressure. Together, we can make it impossible for decision makers to ignore the suffering of pilot whales and other dolphins.
Watch the film. Take action. Keep speaking up.
